Rentals: Rosedale Traditional Community School facilities are used throughout the year for birthday parties, meetings, clubs, soccer practices, and many other social, recreational and educational community gatherings. Facility is suitable for weddings, recitals, plays etc (stage available to use); can accommodate up to 500 guests for dinner. Please contact our office at 604-378-0300 to check availability and costs.

Call for Instructors: The community society is currently seeking talented people from the community to share their interests with others by instructing classes. Please submit expression of interest to

Submitting a Program Proposal: Please do not hesitate to speak with our Executive Director at 604-378-0300, if you would like to discuss a program. A written proposal containing the following information is preferred:

  • Instructor Information: contact information, credentials, etc. Note: for instructors 18 years old and older a criminal records check will be required prior to the program start date.
  • Program Description: what will be taught, learning outcomes, duration, proposed dates, days and times, target age group, supplies required, payment expected (i.e. hourly wage, preparation time, supply costs).
  • Program Approval: Your proposal will be reviewed and, if approved, RTCSS will advertise the program and complete a contract outlining the terms re: program description, dates, times, payment, etc.

Summer Programs: The RTCSS website has been updated with our Summer class information. Check out all the great programs being offered. Register now! Avoid disappointment, programs may be cancelled one week before commencement due to low enrollment.

Celebrate Summer: RTCSS continues to offer the ever growing Celebrate Summer program. Each week is filled with activities including cooking, crafts, sports, water games, a field trip, team building, a movie and a scavenger hunt. We have indoor and outdoor activities each day, as well a gym time and library time. This program is perfect for kids to be social and active during the summer. We accept registration for specific days, entire weeks or the entire summer.Fee: $30.00/Day $140.00/Week No extra fee for field trip for campers attending the full week. Hours: 7am-6pm directed activity 9am-5pm Ages: K to grade 6 (must have completed K)
